Gin is elaborated by triple distillation. Our steam still dating from 1900 allows us to develop an organic, traditional, powerful and complex gin where the bitterness of the juniper is balanced by notes of spice, citrus, flowers and coriander.

Some ingredients come directly from the Ubaye valley: we pick the juniper and wild elderflowers in the surrounding mountains and we cultivate roses in organic farming at 1400 meters above sea level.

Organic gin - 40%vol - 70 cl

No extract, concentrated, preservative or coloring are added.

Sensory analysis

Powerful and complex with a dominant vegetal character. Citrus notes (lime/kumquat) balanced by spicy touches of pepper and pine resin.

The initial taste is quite rounded, revealing floral notes of rose and elderflower, gradually giving way to the bitterness of juniper and hints of spice. The finish is long and allows the robust character of our mountain juniper to fully express itself.

The Lachanenche Distillery
perfected in the art of distillation using a century-old still
acquired in 2012.

Benoit in charge of the
manufacturing, strives to refine its knowledge through the diversity of
products to be distilled (plants, fruits, grains). The goal is to offer
subtle and flavorful spirits, with a touch of originality brought by
the uniqueness of this still.

Alembic:

Steam still from 1907,
comprising three copper vases. Itinerant and originally intended for the
Marc production in Savoy. It was renovated by the addition of two columns of
Stupfler rectifications allowing the production of a finer alcohol
precise and powerful aromatics.
